Bookly Bot ("we", "us", "our") provides an AI-powered appointment booking assistant that businesses use to schedule appointments with their customers, including via WhatsApp. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. This page is maintained by the Bookly Bot operator and is editable content, not an independent certification.

Information we collect

  • Customer contact details provided to book an appointment: name, phone number, and (optionally) email.
  • Appointment details: selected service, staff member, date, and time.
  • Messages sent to or from the booking assistant via WhatsApp or the web booking page.
  • Business account information for shop owners who sign in: email and authentication details.
  • Technical data such as IP address, browser type, and basic usage logs, used for security and reliability.

How we use information

  • To create, confirm, reschedule, and cancel appointments.
  • To send booking confirmations, reminders, and replies via WhatsApp.
  • To provide the business owner with a dashboard of their bookings and conversations.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the service.

WhatsApp and Meta

When you message a business through WhatsApp, your message is processed via the WhatsApp Business Platform (Meta). Meta’s handling of your message is governed by its own privacy policy. We receive the message content and your WhatsApp phone number in order to respond and complete your booking.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with:

  • The business you are booking with (they see your booking and conversation).
  • Service providers that help us run the platform (hosting, database, messaging, AI processing).
  • Authorities when required by law.

Data retention

Booking and conversation data is retained while the business account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to support recordkeeping and disputes. You may request deletion at any time using the contact details below.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Send requests to the contact below.

Security

We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit, access controls, and database row-level security. No service can guarantee absolute security.

Children

The service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes
